GRK’s R4 self-countersinking screw has a new under head with saw-blade like cutting teeth and six self-contained cutting pockets. Together these features act like a circular saw blade, transporting the "drill dust" away from the edge of the screw hole while cutting a perfectly clean hole into even the most brittle materials without cracking any surface treatment.
The R4 9 x 2-1/2" and 9 x 3-1/8" are the most commonly used for decks and are VALUE priced by us for that reason.
R4 Screw #4 requires a T-10 bit.
R4 Screws #6 & #8 requires a T-15 bit.
R4 Screws #9,#10 & #12/14 requires a T-25 bit.
