Detailed Information
This Deck Fascia Corner Guard and Seam Guard© by Refine was made in response to fix a common issue found on decks, "fascia corner gap". When building a typical deck you will install your fascia mitered to butt up against each other, typically the grain won't match, and overtime as the seasons change your composite boards will expand and contract, leaving an ugly gap between your fascia corners.
When you install the Fascia Conner and Seam Guard© it will break up the grain and hide your expanding and contracting fascia corners leaving you with a clean look. These decorative guards also serve as protection for the corners of your deck, it is a lot easier to replace a $25 part then it is to replace a whole fascia board if you were to let's say scrape the corner of your deck with a lawnmower.
Each corner guard and seam guard are made by hand and are available in most decking brands, models, and colors upon request. Each guard is handmade in an outside corner, inside corner, & line seam styles to meet the needs of most projects.
Due to the widths of the corner guards our deck boards must extend 1.5" over the fascia to properly cover the tops of Deck Fascia Corner and Seam Guards© .
