These are the type of lights that typically mount on the side and bottom of deck rails or the face of a deck rail post.
Tip: Plan ahead for the install of these lights by concealing the wire on the interior hollow channels provided in aluminum or composite rails. Only terminate wire under a post cap or other convenient location that will remain accessible. Wire is inexpensive and the extra time spent placing wires will pay huge dividends.
