Al13 Home Posts
Fortress Al13 Home Posts are available with pre-installed brackets or blank with no brackets. If you want to save yourself the hassle of installing the brackets, select the posts for your level rail sections with the brackets already installed. If you have a different plan, or need stair posts, you can order the brackets separately & install them where you need them. Al13 Home Posts are available in 2"x2" or 3"x3", depending on your rail configuration. Each heavy duty aluminum post is FortressLock durable powder coated in either Black Sand or Matte White. Post Skirts included. All Fortress Al13 Home Posts have a Lifetime Warranty.
Detailed Information
The Fortress Al13 Home Posts are designed to work with Over The Post (OTP) continuous top rail, or post to post with the top rail in between each post. Depending on the style of railing you are installing. Top Rails can be Accent Top Rail or a Drink Rail using a deck board.
- 2" Blank posts can be used for both Over The Post (OTP) or Proud Post (typically with post cap) railing
- 3" Blank posts can only be used for Proud Post railing configuration
- 2" posts w/brackets can only be used for Over The Post (OTP) railing
- 3" posts w/brackets can only be used for Proud Post railing configuration
Al13 Home Posts with installed brackets:
- Line Posts will have top & bottom brackets on opposite sides of the post for side by side rail panel installation
- Corner Posts will have top & bottom brackets on adjacent sides of the post for 90° rail panel installation
- End Posts will have top & bottom brackets on one side of the post for end of a side rail panel installation
