  1. Post production Inspection? review by Charles on 7/25/2019
    Overall Product Rating

The pre drilled holes in the stringers were one diameter on one stringer and a different diameter on the other. Preventing the use of the recommended 1/4" bolts.

  2. Excellent stair stringers. review by Wayne on 7/11/2019
    Overall Product Rating

Excellent product. Easy to use. Very sturdy yet light weight.

  3. NO STARS - DO NOT USE THE 9 STEP STRINGER - EXCEPT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! review by Jim Goethe on 9/28/2018
    Overall Product Rating

I had a reputable contractor install the 9 step stinger SYSTEM on my deck. We used three stringers on 48" X 2" pressure-treated treads, anchored to a 30' deck braced with 6X6's, very solid, and a deep concrete pad on the bottom. Used lag bolts and anchors, very solid attachment and system exceeding code - looks great. HOWEVER, with a less than 50 pound person going up or down, the stairway deflects A FULL TWO INCHES OR MORE both up and down and side to side... it's like walking on a rope bridge. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THESE AS THEY ARE ACTUALLY DANGEROUS TO USE!!! Anyone with a balancing issue could fall with the swaying and bouncing. Makes the railing flex and creak as well. I am now looking at having to replace them or spending more to brace them with cemented 6X6's and cross-bracing which will destroy the appearance. DO NOT BUY!!!

  4. They look nice review by Kayla on 7/31/2018
    Overall Product Rating

I only gave a 2 star review because 1. the hardware for these were not included and since they are so unique I would think they would be with them. 2. I had to order 24 of these for my deck and some of them had a different size hole for the stair bolt. I ended up having to special order the screws so I could get them all to fit. I would not have ordered them had I known that. Same stringer = same screw.

  5. Not the strongest review by John on 7/30/2018
    Overall Product Rating

I had to already get them welded. Not the strongest materials!

  6. Great Timesaver and eeven better than what I was going to do! review by joe on 7/30/2018
    Overall Product Rating

Had to build steps up to a screen enclosed wood deck. Serached high and low and didn't want to use a wood stringer. I felt very fortunate to run upon this product. Affrodable, matched my bronze screen metal, very easy to install and received quickly. I highly recommend this product and company.

  7. done & done review by James on 7/29/2018
    Overall Product Rating

Installed these myself. Wanted something that looked good and would last. Better and safer than concrete steps. At 68 my DIY years are fading fast and I wanted something that was maintenance free and would last.

  8. Never Painting Again review by Michael on 7/29/2018
    Overall Product Rating

I stripped my deck down to the frame for a complete makeover, the end product being a deck that required very little maintenance and most importantly, no painting. Composite decking, vinyl post covers, railings and trim. But what about step risers? What could I use that wouldn't be wood? These are the trick right here. While I admit that they weren't a perfect fit for my deck, requiring a slight modification to work, they are in place and look great. Solid, functional, attractive and most of all, zero maintenance. And if you're wondering, the modification involved cutting off a portion of the top vertical piece so the risers would fit on the side of my deck. These work great, get some, you won't be disappointed.
