Trex Signature Aluminum Posts
Trex Signature Aluminum Posts are part of a simple 3-step Trex Signature Aluminum Railing system. Made of strong, powder-coated aluminum, these 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" posts can be used in a number of applications, including on stone patios.
Colors available include:
- Charcoal Black
- Bronze (Special Order - Allow Extra Delivery Time)
- Textured White (Special Order - Allow Extra Delivery Time)
To order, choose Signature Aluminum Posts (which include a cap and skirt) for Steps 1 & 2, and pair with Step 3 | Signature Rail & Baluster Kit by Trex, or choose Trex composite post sleeves, caps and skirts for Steps 1 & 2, and pair with the rail & baluster kit (Step 3).
Tip: By using a stair crossover post rather than extending the center stair post through the rail, you may avoid the need for a code-required Secondary Handrail System. For more information check the current IRC 311 Rules Regarding Handrail Requirements.

Note: 42" Crossover Posts are special orders and have an extended lead time.
TIP: You can cut Signature Aluminum posts on a standard power miter box with a carbide blade that is designed to cut wood. Because aluminum is a non-ferrous metal, the carbide blade makes clean, precise cuts with very little wear to the saw blade. Always follow safe cutting practices when using power tools. Gloves and safety glasses are a must.
