Series 400 Top Rail Splices
The series 400 top rail is a flat top rail designed to accept a wood or composite top rail mounted to the series 400 top cap. With these top rail splices you can create continuous rail with ease. Join the sections with the splice using 8 - #10x3/4" self-drilling screws (not included). All splices require miter cutting of top rail. Available in 4 variants including notched for stair transitions, line/straight, 135°, or 90°.

Straight Splice: 9" long splice joins straight sections of series 400 top rail to make any length run. Installs using 8 - #10x3/4" self-drilling screws (not included).
90° Splice: Splices top rails to make a 90° corner for series 400 top rail. Require miter cutting of top rail. Installs using 8 - #10x3/4" self-drilling screws (not included).
135° Splice: Splices top rails to make a 135° angle for series 400 top rail. Requires miter cutting of top rail. Installs using 8 - #10x3/4" self-drilling screws (not included).
Stair Splice: For continuous level to stair transition. bends to accommodate any angle from 0° - 38°. Requires miter cutting of top rail. Installs using 8 - #10x3/4" self-drilling screws (not included).
