With the new Diamond Pier foundation, all that is in the past! This new footing system features a concrete head that contains pre-made holes. Simply set the head in place and drive the included steel-bearing pins through it deep into the ground with simple hand tools. The pin pile foundation quickly delivers a secure deck footing below the frost line, all without disturbing existing landscaping. This technology has been proven over nearly three decades of use by public agencies across the country, and it offers the best way to install a reliable and durable foundation that will last the lifetime of your deck structure.
Now available in a new offset style that accepts 4x4, 4x6 & 6x6 deck support posts. For homeowners who are doing a single DIY project, Diamond Pier Foundations can be installed using either a large sledge hammer or the custom driver tool. For contractors, any standard pointed bits that fit 30# - 60# Electric Hammer tools easily slide inside the pins to speed up installation.
